Loving Doodle Companions

Doodles are quickly becoming one of the most popular breeds for families with children. Loving Doodle Companions are smart, low-shedding, friendly and fun loving dogs that can be great companions for families of all ages. Doodles can also be a good fit for families with allergies, eczema and asthma because they do not shed dander like other breeds.

What are the downsides of Goldendoodles?

Because of the range in sizes that Doodles come in, they are well-suited for people in all living situations and activity levels. Goldendoodles and Labradoodles are great for anyone from a large family to someone who lives alone, while Miniature Goldendoodles are perfect for families with toddlers or young children. And, for people who want a bit more energy in their dog, sheepadoodles (a cross between the Old English Sheepdog and a Poodle) or Aussiedoodles (a cross between a laid-back Saint Bernard and a Standard Poodle) are high-energy and thrive when participating in a variety of dog sports.

Regardless of what size or type of Doodle you choose, they are all intelligent, highly trainable and very eager to please. They need lots of exercise and training, so they make a good choice for active households that have the time to devote to their well-being.

While they do not tend to have the prey drive of other herding breeds, many doodles still exhibit a natural tendency to chase and herd animals and will need to be taught to channel this energy into more appropriate activities. Because of this, they are not the right choice for people with busy   who do not have time to train and stimulate their doodle dogs.
